The Mountain Road blog featured the DC sendoff in this sunrise video (above).

The Fall 2020 Grand Depart and ITT season had a record 30+ riders attempting TransVA routes, including the classic TransVA 550 as well as the new Valley 520 and DC to Harrisonburg 200 routes.

Huge efforts were seen across the board with 6 riders on the TransVA 550 course breaking the previous 2019 FKT held by Jonathan Ramirez (3d:14:58), two of whom finished more than 10 hours faster (Bertrand & Ed), and Ed Pickup setting the new FKT at 3 days, 1 hour and 40 minutes (3d:01:40). New FKTs were set for all categories on the 550 Route (male, female and single-speed), the Valley 520 Route, and DC to Harrisonburg 200 route

See table below, with links to Ride Reports as well!.

As hurricane Delta passed through the area October 10-12, many riders suffered mechanical issues and challenging conditions that contributed to a handful of DNFs. See the Trackleaders summary at http://trackleaders.com/transva20.
